In the United States, Montana has become a lead laboratory for expanded access to experimental therapies: SB 422 opened a pathway beyond terminal-illness-only right-to-try, and SB 535 created experimental treatment centers with independent review. The state’s first experimental treatment review board is now live—bringing longevity leaders including Matt Kaeberlein, Jamie Justice, and Felipe Sierra into a framework influenced by the longevity community and advanced by Infinita (founded by Niklas Anzinger and based in Próspera). Patients need not present a defined disease state to be eligible—important because aging is not classified as a disease—while boards add peer review, transparency, and outcome reporting as guardrails.
